energy conservation

Energy conservation deals with the conservation of different forms of energy in order to maintain the energy efficiency throughout the world.Nowadays all the energy sources such petrol, diesel, coal, fossil fuels etc. are in the verge of extinction .which may result in  massive energy crisis in the future.Energy law states that energy is neither created nor can be destroyed but only trans fer from one form to another.

Some countries employ energy or carbon taxes to motivate energy users to reduce their consumption. As detailed in the book, Green Illusions, carbon taxes can allow consumption to shift to nuclear power and other alternatives that carry a different set of environmental side effects and limitations. Meanwhile, taxes on all energy consumption stand to reduce energy use across the board, while reducing a broader array of environmental consequences arising from energy production. The State of California employs a tiered energy tax whereby every consumer receives a baseline energy allowance that carries a low tax. As usage increases above that baseline, the tax increases dramatically. Such programs aim to protect poorer households while creating a larger tax burden for high energy consumers.
hence the  source of energy are going to be exhausted. So alternative sources for non-renewable energy sources should be introduced .so that low consumption of the fossil fuels ,petrol, etc can be maintained.also, solar energy and hydro power energy should be given more priority.

energy transformation

The transfer of energy from one form to another form, from one phase to another phase by the means of some external or internal medium is called energy transformation.this includes the chemical change of the forms of energy such as heat energy into electrical energy, chemical to electrical and so on.Energy transformation is an important concept in the application of the physical sciences. The ability for energy to be transformed automates, lights, entertains, and warms the world in an astounding multitude of ways.

Energy transformation can also be explained in terms of potential energy, the stored energy of a system, which can be converted into kinetic energy, the energy of movement. For example, a roller coaster sitting at the top of a hill is said to have potential energy. This potential energy is gravitational, which is gained when the coaster moves up the hill. Once the coaster begins to move down the hill, the force of gravity is exerted and the potential energy is transformed into the kinetic energy of the car moving. During energy transformations, potential energy is often transformed to kinetic energy and back again to potential energy.

Every phases changes to produce new phase and all these phase are derived from each other.this trans formation has the great influence in the world .there are different types of transformation .Such as

renewable energy

Renewable energy are the sources of energy that can appear again and again even if they are used long times.this means that they are inexhaustable such as  water, sun, biomass, etc.they are the lifetime periodic sources.one can use it whenever required and to a long time.every human beings are made to use this resources in good manner and then main things is that this resources are the gift of nature.

Renewable energy is energy that comes from resources which are continually replenished such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves and geothermal heat. About 16% of global final energy consumption comes from renewable resources, with 10% of all energy from traditional biomass, mainly used for heating, and 3.4% from hydroelectricity. New renewables (small hydro, modern biomass, wind, solar, geothermal, and biofuels) accounted for another 3% and are growing very rapidly. The share of renewables in electricity generation is around 19%, with 16% of electricity coming from hydroelectricity and  from new renewables.

wind energy, biomass, solar energy, radiant energy, hydropowar electricity etc are renew able sources of energy from it human beings can sustain their life.

energy technology

Energy technology is an interdisciplinary engineering science having to do with the efficient, safe, environmentally friendly and economical extraction, conversion, transportation, storage and use of energy, targeted towards yielding high efficiency whilst skirting side effects on humans, nature and the environment.
For people, energy is an overwhelming need and as a scarce resource it has been an underlying cause of political conflicts and wars. The gathering and use of energy resources can be harmful to local ecosystems and may have global outcomes.

sun is a major sources of energy. This energy source has helped the whole world in many ways. The solar panels are made to recover the energy from sun. It's energy can be converted into mechanical, electrical and chemical energy.

Electric power engineering deals with the production and use of electrical energy, which can entail the study of machines such as generators, electric motors and transformers. Infrastructure involves substations and transformer stations, power lines and electrical cable. Load management and power management over networks have meaningful sway on overall energy efficiency.

forms of energy

There are different forms of energy in the world such as kinetic, potential, mechanical, chemical and electrical energy. These energy sources are the common in human life.

Mechanical energy:The energy stored in rhe fotm of rest are known as mechanical energy.such as streched rubber, water stored in dam, gravitational energy, etc.

E_\mathrm{k} = \int \mathbf{F} \cdot d \mathbf{x} = \int \mathbf{v} \cdot d \mathbf{p}Kinetic energy:The energy in the form of motion is called kinetc energy.Kinetic energy is the work required to accelerate an object to a given speed. In general:
Nuclear energy:Nuclear energy, is the use of exothermic nuclear processes,to generate useful heat and electricity. The term includes nuclear fission, nuclear decay and nuclear fusion.

Chemical energy:Chemical energy is the potential of a chemical substance to undergo a transformation through a chemical reaction or, to transform other chemical substances. Examples include batteries and light bulbs and cells etc. Breaking or making of chemical bonds involves energy, which may be either absorbed or evolved from a chemical system.

Electrical energy:Electrical energy is energy newly derived from electrical potential energy. When loosely used to describe energy absorbed or delivered by an electrical circuit (for example, one provided by an electric power utility) "electrical energy" refers to energy which has been converted from electrical potential energy.

Biomass energy

Biomass is biological material derived from living, or recently living organisms. It most often refers to plants or plant-derived materials which are specifically called lignocellulosic biomass. As a renewable energy source, biomass can either be used directly via combustion to produce heat, or indirectly after converting it to various forms of biofuel. Conversion of biomass to biofuel can be achieved by different methods which are broadly classified into: thermal, chemical, and biochemical methods.

Biomass is all biologically-produced matter based in carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. The estimated biomass production in the world is 146 billion tons a year, consisting of mostly wild plant growth.
Based on the source of biomass, biofuels are classified broadly into two major categories. First generation biofuels are derived from sources such as sugarcane and corn starch etc. Sugars present in these biomass are fermented to produce bioethanol, an alcohol fuel. Which can be used directly in a fuel cell to produce electricity or serve as an additive to gasoline.

When farmers in Nepal want to cook, use a lamp or heat their simple houses, renewable energy often comes into play. Biogas plants are to help the farmers make do without wood, the traditional energy source that covers 75% of total energy needs. The government of Nepal has launched a biogas programme with German help. So far, 100,000 biogas plants have been built. It is planned to treble this number by 2009. Farmers who keep livestock profit doubly from the clean energy: the plants supply them with gas for their stoves and lamps and the composted sludge can be used on the fields as natural fertilizer. Nepal’s industry has also discovered the biogas sector. Jobs are being created in small firms that build and maintain the biogas plants.

energy saving

Energy Saving Module(ESM) represent a green technology that reduces the electricity consumption (kWh) and maximum demand (kW) of air conditioning and refrigeration compressors. ensuring that the compressors work at maximum efficiency, while maintaining preset temperature levels. By preventing over-cycling by a process, known as ‘Compressor Optimisation' consumption of electricity is cut by between 15% and 25% in each case, thereby improving operating costs and cutting emission of greenhouse gases.

Efficient energy use, sometimes simply called energy efficiency, is the goal to reduce the amount of energy required to provide products and services. For example, insulating a home allows a building to use less heating and cooling energy to achieve and maintain a comfortable temperature. Installing fluorescent lights or natural skylights
reduces the amount of energy required to attain the same level of illumination compared with using traditional incandescent light bulbs. Compact fluorescent lights use one-third the energy of incandescent lights and may last 6 to 10 times longer. Improvements in energy efficiency are most often achieved by adopting a more efficient technology or production process.

The impact of energy efficiency on peak demand depends on when the appliance is used. For example, an air conditioner uses more energy during the afternoon when it is hot. Therefore, an energy efficient air conditioner will have a larger impact on peak demand than off-peak demand. An energy efficient dishwasher, on the other hand, uses more energy during the late evening when people do their dishes. This appliance may have little to no impact on peak demand.

Alternative sources of energy

Petrol, fuels, woods, etc are the main sources of energy.these types of energy once exhausts then it will never appear again.these energy resources are called non renewable source of energy.over use of this energy sources results their crisis. So another energy sources have been introduced to low the wastes of this energy. This is called alternative sources of energy.

The nature of what constitutes an alternative energy source has changed considerably over time, as have controversies regarding energy use. Today, because of the variety of energy choices and differing goals of their advocates, defining energy types as "alternative" is highly controversial. These alternatives are intended to address concerns about power sources with research and development.

Solar photo-voltaic (PV) is a technology used for converting energy from the sun into electricity. Solar charging is a viable business in most rural areas in Africa, able to provide services for mobile phone charging, car battery charging and lantern charging. Solar PV offers an alternative to kerosene, diesel generators and dry cell batteries. We support small businesses selling and distributing simple solar technologies which are improving the quality of lives of thousands of people.

energy development

Energy development is the production of renewable source of energy. This includes the proper development of the resources to meet the need of society. This helps in the proper and balance the need of society.the energy sources should be properly utilized and commercially used so that no any effect on the environment would seen .Everyone should properly utilize these energy sources  thinking of its sustainablity.

Thousands of people in society are employed in the energy industry, of which subjectively influence and impact behaviors.these peoples in these industry .Petroleum-powered vehicles are inefficient, this has been remediated though with the advance of technology  inception. Only about 30% of the energy from the fuel they consume is converted into mechanical energy. The rest of the fuel-source energy is inefficiently comes as waste heat.

Efficient energy use, simply called energy efficiency, is the goal of efforts to reduce the amount of energy required to provide products and services. For example, insulating a home allows a building to use less heating and cooling energy to achieve and maintain a comfortable temperature. Installing fluorescent lights or natural skylights reduces the amount of energy required to attain the same level of illumination compared to using traditional incandescent light bulbs.

energy crisis

An energy crisis is any great supply of energy resources to an economy. In popular literature though, it often refers to one of the energy sources used at a certain time and place, particularly those that supply national electricity grids or serve as fuel for vehicles. There has been an enormous increase in the global demand for energy in recent years as a result of industrial development and population growth. Since the early 2000s the demand for energy, especially from liquid fuels, and limits on the rate of fuel production has created such a bottleneck leading to the current energy crisis.

Today's world is rhe enargy dependent life sustaining mass. All the energy resources we uses are in the verge of extinction and upcoming fututre in danger.

Coal, nuclear and hydro are used primarily to make electricity. Natural gas is widely used for heating. Biomass, which usually means wood or dried dung, is used for heating and cooking. The red sliver is wind and solar power, primarily. The red sliver may be small, but it is the future because wind and solar power are sustainable.

Over use of these resources causes these types of crisis.
Because of our numbers and our technology, we humans greatly influence the ecology of Earth. We humans, qualified or not, are at the controls. Earth does not come with an operating manual. We humans need to look to science to create one.

The coming era of limited and expensive energy will be very difficult for everyone on Earth but it will be even more difficult if it is not anticipated. It is of utmost importance that the public and especially policymakers understand the global energy crisis and the underlying science.
